<image:caption>I grew up in Missoula, Montana and decided to become an ISR Instructor when trying to find the best way to introduce my oldest daughter to water in 2009. I love spending time on the rivers and lakes in our great state. After researching other programs available, I felt it necessary to bring ISR to Montana to give as many children as possible a safe start. A safe start in which they gain comfort in the water through having actual skill in it. I have now been teaching in Missoula and surrounding areas since 2010 and couldn't imagine doing anything else. In 2017 I went on to become a Master Instructor and have been enjoying since teaching new instructors so that ISR can be more accessible in Montana and in the Northwest. <image:caption>I grew up on a ranch in Martinsdale, Montana and went to college in Billings, where I found a career in the retirement planning industry. I am an auntie to many, both family and friends, and more recently have become a mom. I have always enjoyed being around children and have always been an active person who enjoys being on the rivers and lakes of Montana. Becoming an ISR Instructor gave me the opportunity to help children be safe and give them a wonderful foundation for loving the water as well.</image:caption>

<image:title>Billings - Certified ISR Instructor, Kayli Mort</image:title>
<image:caption>I grew up in Shepherd, MT where I went to and finished school. I then moved to Glendive MT where my husband is from and I lived there for 9 years. In those 9 years, we got married, built a life together & had 3 babies! Life was busy to say the least. We had the opportunity to move back to Billings in July of 2020 so here we are! I started a photography business that I am still very active in, I truly love being a photographer. When the opportunity came across to become a certified ISR instructor, I thought about it for months and finally made the decision to jump on it. ISR was never an option in Eastern MT so I hadn't really considered putting our kiddos in lessons. The closest instructor was over an hour away in ND. So after we moved to Billings, getting to know more about ISR (and being an avid water family), I decided it was a great decision to join the ISR family. Now that I'm a certified instructor, I couldn't be happier with the decision. It is truly an amazing program. I'm so excited to get to know more kiddos and families as I teach them these amazing life saving skills.</image:caption>

<image:title>Billings - Certified ISR Instructor, Meaghan Simons</image:title>
<image:caption>I am lucky enough to call Montana my home. I was born and raised in this great state. Two of my three kiddos are on the autism spectrum and all three love the water. With this I knew I had to get them enrolled in ISR. My daughter is fearless when it comes to the thing she loves most, water. After watching the process of her becoming a floater as just a baby, to a 2 year old that was jumping off the diving board, coming up into her float to catch her breath before flipping over to continue her swim, I was convinced this was magic. It took 2 years for another instructor to convince me to become an instructor myself. I have always known I wanted to work with kids and as soon as I became a Certified Instructor I knew I had found my other passion and calling (my other is working with special needs kiddos). I love getting to be hands on and teaching life saving skills to all different ages. I am truly blessed and cannot wait for the opportunity to work with your kiddo(s)!</image:caption>

<image:caption>My name is Ceanna Berkram and I recently became certified to teach in Butte, Montana. I have two year old boy/girl twins who both love the water. They each took ISR from one of our very own, Starla Kalata, in Colorado before we moved back last year. I was born and raised in Montana and love fishing, hiking, skiing, camping, or basically anything outdoors with my family. It feels so refreshing to be excited about my career again, and I am eager to help spread ISR throughout Montana</image:caption>

<image:caption>I was introduced to ISR when I nannied for a little two year old girl who was enrolled in the program. I had taught swim lessons through Red Cross for years, but was amazed by her progress in such a short period of time and the confidence it instilled, both in herself and her guardians. Not only did she enjoy being in the water, but she had the self-saving skills to match, too! When I moved to NW Montana and discovered there wasn’t an instructor in the area despite the enormous amount of open water we have, I knew I had to take the leap. I am so incredibly excited to offer these lessons to my little corner of the world and do my part to ensure that #notonemorechilddrowns. Here’s to a safer valley and a LOT more fish swimming in our waters :-)</image:caption>

<image:caption>A Utah native, Macy fell in love with Montana while playing volleyball for the MSU Bobcats and receiving her degree in K-12 Health Enhancement with a coaching minor. She has spent the last 15 years enjoying coaching and mentoring kids in all aspects of life. ISR fits her passion perfectly! She first learned about the program when looking for help with her no-fear youngest. After seeing ISR in action and the change in her children’s skill and respect for water, she became certified in Missoula in 2020. She is so happy to be in Montana to share with other families the blessing that is ISR.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I have always loved the water and my first job was as a lifeguard which led to teaching Red Cross swim lessons and water aerobics. I admittedly didn't know much about ISR until I put my youngest son in lessons at 15 months and watching his daily growth was absolutely amazing. Montana is a large state and yet there are so few instructors so I decided to take the plunge to get certified. I am a mom to 5 amazing children so I know firsthand how critical water safety and survival swimming is for little ones. We moved recently out of the Flathead Valley to just outside of Great Falls and I feel so blessed to be able to work with all your wonderful kids helping them find their float and swim like a fish!</image:caption>
